We made some minor upgrades to our website.  Bassically the hardware that runs it has been replaced.  We might have lost some of our data and links to how you were use to seeing them.  For the most part it’s fixed and all the features should be returning shortly.

Also if you have a mobile phone or IPHONE you should be able to read the Dance Team’s website in a easier to read format for smaller browsers.

We would like to thank everyone for attending the 2008-2009 Laker Dance Team tryouts! There was a lot of talent this year and everyone did wonderful! The selection process was difficult with very close scoring, so if you were not selected this year we encourage you to come out next year and tryout again. We have decided to select 16 girls for the performance team for experience purposes, but we will only be buying 14 tickets to the National Dance Alliance Competition in April, so everyone work hard this season!

Tryouts for the 2008-2009 Laker Dance Team are apon us. Being a Dance Team member is very rewarding. You not only gain close friends on the team, but you become a part of the GVSU Laker spirit that drives the teams and fans. ( oh ya, we go to Florida for Nationals too ).

Sounds exciting? Here’s some information you will need to know to join us.

WHEN?

• April 19th 9:30am - 5pm
• April 20th 12pm - 5 pm

THINGS TO BRING ALONG FOR TRYOUTS?

• $25 tryout fee
• tryout waiver
• signed tryout packet
• proof of current gpa 2.0 or higher
• 2009 GVSU schedule

A?A Girls will need to sign up for 15 minture time blocks and have an individual tryout on Sunday

WHAT IF YOU CAN’T MAKE IT THOSE TWO DAYS?

Fans, you have one last time to get a chance to see us perform at our last basketball game this year.A?A This is the final playoff game that GVSU will host and our final time preforming for them.A?A We hope to see the field house full Tuesday night as we take on Findlay one last time this year.
